recreationDescription Multi-Use Trails Miles of dirt and rock wait to be conquered at every turn. Tattered ranch roads, jutted with dips and valleys, carve through the park in a series of shaded runs. The routes have several loops intertwining throughout the park and offer the advanced hiker or rider the ability to stack on longer distance for a route of higher difficulty. Additionally, the gradient and ascensions are at a minimum, making the roads perfect for every level of adventuring. Fishing Huddles of various fish can be seen darting about the crystal clear water. The water’s edge is a welcoming spot to put up your feet and let your lure take a dive for the bass, crappie, and catfish found just offshore at Turkey Bend Recreation Area. Wildlife Viewing Turkey Bend is most notable for its wildlife overlook; your camera has never begged for more beautiful pictures. From years of water erosion, the hillside has ebbed away and is now clustered with coves and shelters for residing bobcats, deer, and the endanger Golden Cheeked Warbler.
